March Release #1, 2026
The following updates have been implemented in AG5’s skills management software.
Skill development insights
We’ve introduced a new Insights page that provides full visibility into the skill
development process helping you shift from gap identification to gap resolution.
It lets you track each step — from planning training and requesting self-assessments to monitoring approvals and recording results, so you can actively manage progress.
Key benefits:
Quickly identify where new results are stuck in the process and pinpoint bottlenecks — whether they are waiting for self-assessments or approvals
Clearly see where training is already planned and where it’s delayed
Identify where immediate action is needed by specific teams or managers using the matrix filter

Insights improvements
You can now see the full organizational structure path of a team, shift, or other grouping within the Insights pages. This shows exactly how a specific grouping is positioned within your organizational hierarchy and ensures data is always interpreted within the correct operational context.
You can view the organizational structure path:
In the data table
By hovering over a team or shift name in charts, lists, and filters on the Insights pages

All rules visible in grouping page now
This small but impactful improvement now allow you to see all directly related requirements in the grouping page. This includes those that apply to a specific number of individuals, rather than everyone, providing clearer visibility into actual coverage.

‘Problems’ are now ‘gaps’ (English only)
To better align with customer language and common terminology, missing skills are no longer called “problems” but “gaps” – a term that is more intuitive and focuses on improvement opportunities.

Skill version rules updated
You can no longer create skill versions with a start date in the past if a result with a later date already exists.
This ensures that you don’t lose data, and keeps skill tracking accurate and consistent over time.
New filters and export fields
A new “Skill type” filter is now available on the skill results and requirements pages.
We have also added additional fields to custom exports:
Organizational structure data (like employee position tags) in the results export
Contract type in the alert list export
These additions give you more control and context when filtering and reporting on your data.
