January Release #1, 2026

The following updates have been implemented in AG5’s skills management software.

New insight pages for teams, job roles, and more

We’ve introduced new Insight pages that give you clearer visibility into your organization. These pages are available to users with access to all organization data.

Each grouping type – such as job roles, teams, locations, or shifts – now has its own dedicated Insights page.

On each page, you can use filters to focus on specific groupings and easily compare them with each other. You can also use the time filter to see how compliance has progressed over a certain period. This lets you quickly see which teams or roles are excelling, which may need support, and where to focus improvement efforts. It also helps you easily understand differences, identify gaps, and gain meaningful insights into skills development across your organization.

Deeper insights, smarter navigation

The Overall Insights page now includes a data table showing the actual numbers behind each insight, giving you full transparency to validate or export data for deeper analysis. Moreover, the new collapsible sidebar provides more space to navigate efficiently, especially on data-heavy pages.

Clear skill descriptions for potential positions

When working with potential positions, skill descriptions are now clearly shown. This provides better context when reviewing required skills and planning development.

Multilingual skill level descriptions

We’ve added infrastructure to support multi-language skill level descriptions. When enabled on request, you can now manage skill level descriptions in multiple languages, making AG5 easier to use in international organizations.

Better visibility for skill versions

Skill Versions are now shown in more areas across the product, so you can quickly understand which version of a skill is being used, wherever you’re working.

Permission and security improvements

We’ve made several fixes to improve access control and data security:

  • Fixed an issue where users with a matrix grant could manage employee positions. This won’t be possible unless explicitly requested

  • Fixed an issue where some users with “Portfolios you manage” permissions could see organization trees to which they shouldn’t have access

  • Fixed an issue where “My Portfolio” edit users could edit their personal information

These changes ensure permissions behave as expected and data remains visible only to the right users.
